Invisible cities
On November 8 and 9, 2024, a selection of my street photographs was showcased alongside the works of international photographers in the exhibition “Invisible Cities: The city and desire,” organized by Galeria Fülle. This event was held at the cultural space La Tomada in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This marks my first international exhibition, and I’m especially excited to share this news with all my followers and friends. Your support has been and continues to be, an essential driving force in making my work visible and impactful.
“Invisible cities have no form. They don’t take up space; They do not last over time. They have a heart, a pulse, and sometimes even breathing.”
Italo Calvino
Galeria Fülle is more than an art gallery; they are the bridge between the visible and the felt. As they beautifully put it, “Photography is a historical object, an archive, a treasure. It is a denunciation, a revolt, a revelation. Photography is memory, nostalgia, the four seasons, and all the continents. It is a powerful, transcendent, and devastating visual language capable of saving a town and uniting a thousand loves. Photography is light, darkness, time, instant, physics, and chemistry. With multiple tricks to make magic happen, it is play, illusion, and fantasy.”
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Galeria Fülle for their interest in my work and for inviting me to share this exhibition with other photographers who, like me, delve into the urban fabric and its spaces.
In March and April 2025, I will once again be part of the “Invisible Cities” project. There is still a long way to go, but it bodes well for the upcoming year.
Stay tuned…
